Invite Fall Into Your Wardrobe
Its official sweater season is upon us. Without a doubt, this has to be my favourite season of all for more reasons than one. It’s the perfect mix of sun and clouds that fresh crisp morning chill in the air and hearing the leaves crunch under my feet. Ok, let’s face it it’s more about fall fashion for me than anything else.
It’s perfect weather for coats, close-toe shoes and beautiful Autumn colours. However, this time of year can be totally unpredictable weather-wise especially here in the North. Nosweat lovies, this is where layering comes into play, let me help you get your wardrobe ready for fall. What better way to plan for these unstable weather changes than to layer up?
Let’s invite fall into your wardrobe with these three easy tips.
Layering up as mentioned before is an absolute must. Try pairing a lightweight turtleneck with a vest. Jackets, blazers, vests and shawls are what I like to refer to as ”third piece”. In my opinion, fall is all about having a variety of ”third pieces” better know as layering items that are easy to put on or take off at any given time.
Fall colours are a great addition to any outfit there are so many colours to choose from like hunters green, burgundy, blush, burnt orange, mustard and navy just to name a few. The easiest way to plan the perfect fall outfit is to invite these colours into your wardrobe. Start building your outfit with the basics and add the perfect fall colour to complete the look.
Let’s not forget to transition those summer sandals and switching them out for a pair of loafers, ballet flats, pointed toe block heels, over the knee boots or mules. The right shoe will just wail fall.
