My love for denim is too real. If you follow me on Instagram @styleliketrina then you might have sensed my obsession for this sturdy cotton textile. I try to change things up every once in a while when it comes to my bottom options but something always leads me back to good old denim. I could literally wear jean seven days a week.
As far as I can remember denim has always been a symbol of style for me. Back in the late 90’s, I was the assistant manager of the Levis store in the Toronto Eaton Centre. I think that’s when I developed this love for all thing’s denim.
Here are 6 Reason I love Jeans
Anyone can wear jeans. My 11-year son loves a good pair of loose distressed jeans. While my daughters rather a more fitted and slimming style.
2)Jeans can be worn in any season
In the fall and winter months, you can go for a long style jean, whereas in the spring and summer month you can go for a cropped look or even your favourite denim shorts.
Jeans can be worn with a simple T-shirt or dressed up with a beautiful blouse or even your go-to blazer.
4)The options are endless
Denim has certainly come a long way. You can choose from a variety of colours washes and styles. Not to mention any choice of fit.
Whether you want to spend $300 on a designer pair of jeans or spend $20 on a pair from your favourite box store. Denim is available for everyone’s budget.
We all own that one pair (or maybe several) of jeans that you just can’t give up. You know that one you could live in?!
With so many options to choose from like the good old mom jeans, high-waisted, fitted, distressed boyfriend look or skinny fit wearing jeans 7 days a week could actually be a thing. The fact that denim can be dressed up or dressed down makes it even that much easier to wear for any occasion. In my opinion, I’d have to say a high-waisted style is my absolute favourite. They hug you in all the right places at the same time as making your mid-section look super flattering.
